Materials Scientist with expertise in polymer composites, fibres, nonwovens and textiles. Nicola completed a PhD in Materials Science at the University of Manchester, focussing on manufacture and testing of carbon/epoxy composites interleaved with nonwoven and nanofibre veils to improve their damage tolerance.

A chemist by background with a PhD in Liquid Crystal Polymers, Mark has had a highly successful career with Merck leading R&D in display technologies. In his role as Chief Scientific Officer, Mark brings his industry expertise and passion for innovations in liquid crystal technologies to bear as a valuable member of the Auxetec team.
